My Journey

My name is Raed Gharzeddine. I am a Software Engineering Manager with over 25 years of experience in software design, development, and delivery, focusing on Microsoft technologies, managing Agile teams, and delivering solutions for both cloud and on-premises environments. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the American University of Beirut and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the Lebanese American University. I began a Master’s in Computer Science but left after the first semester to focus on practical experience, leadership, and continuous self-improvement. Throughout my career, I have earned various professional certifications, including Microsoft certifications, Certified ScrumMaster, and Certified Scrum Product Owner. I am passionate about learning, especially in science, software engineering, technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence. Recently, I have been more focused on AI, enhancing my skills as both a manager and a hands-on software engineer. I also enjoy reading on many topics, particularly fiction, science, and science fiction. Outside of work and study, I love sci-fi movies and TV series; my favorites are The Matrix trilogy and the Star Wars movies and series. I am also a fan of the Stargate and Star Trek TV series, which reflect my fascination with futuristic ideas, technology, and imagination.
